Once upon a time Liz, along with her sister Patti, was one of the baddest bitches in all of New York. The two of them were street hoodlums through and through, going so far as to mug anyone who might have been wandering the streets alone. The richer they looked, the more they made themselves a target. Being the older sister, Liz did everything she could to provide everything for Patti that they could afford. It all changed the day that they met Death the Kid. They had bitten off a little more than they could chew and found themselves in the middle of a fight that wasn't going in their favor at all. As they attempted to escape, it was Kid who saved them, and he did so for one simple reason: he wished to use the sisters, who have the ability to turn into a pair of guns, as his Weapons.

Liz saw this as an opportunity to live in the lap of luxury and so went along with the idea, but there was something about the nobility in Kid's soul that resonated with her. The plan to take everything from the damn trust fund child that she could carry dissolved, and she and Patti have remained Kid's Weapons ever since.

That part of Liz's personality has toned down in the time that she and Patti have spent with Kid. She has a fierce loyalty to her sister first and foremost, as it was just the two of them for nearly the entirety of their lives. She comes first in all of Liz's actions. Even when Kid, who is the second most important person in her life, was kidnapped (hah.), Liz ignored Patti's yelling at her to go after the man who had captured Kid. Simply put, Liz knew that the difference in their strength, especially if it was just the two of them and no Meister, was too great. If Kid being and them staying put meant that Patti would remain alive, then Liz wasn't going to move from the spot, and that's exactly what she did. Even though Kid's capture hurt her, she still had her sister, and that was the most important thing.

She also takes a fierce pride in everything her sister does. Patti is incredibly physically strong, moreso than Liz is, and she has a tendency to just beam like a proud parent whenever Patti accomplishes something. She's That Parent, despite only being a sibling: the one who will stand up in the middle of a child's performance or sports game and yell THAT'S MY BABY! just to make sure everyone knows.

The next most important person in her life is Kid. He's the one to whom she owes so much, and she laments in more recent chapters about not having been able to thank him for everything he's done for her and her sister. Like any Weapon, Liz would protect Kid with her life (just so long as it didn't jeopardize Patti's), though she might be a little more hesitant about it than some others. She has a self-preservation streak in her a mile wide, developed from all of those years on the streets. It's a little hard to break it. She can get pretty easily frustrated with him, however. Where Patti finds his eccentricities hilarious, Liz has a tendency toward yelling at him about not worrying about whether or not he remembered to fold the toilet paper into perfect triangles. But even then, if it looks like he's really bad off, she can drop the anger and reassure him to the best of her ability, which mostly just involves a lot of telling him he's not useless (even if, at that moment, she might feel like he kind of is).

That said, there is definitely one thing that Liz will probably never, ever jump in front of Kid to protect him from, and that's a ghost. Nope. Not gonna do it. You keep those dead spirits haunting things as far away from her as absolutely possible she refuses to go anywhere near them ever. They terrify her to the point of barely being able to even stand when confronted with one. It'll only be the absolute and immediate danger of anyone dear to her that can get her to move, and even then it'd be slow going. One trembling step at a time.

Liz also has a high fondness for being incredibly girly. This includes going shopping, meticulously doing her makeup, and boys. Oh, does she enjoy a hitting on a hot guy. She'll even go so far as to take credit for another person's work in an attempt to impress one. She has a tendency to like the thug-y type of guy; tall, scruffy, pierced, the kind of guy that looks like he can protect her, but she's not terribly picky. A pretty boy is good, too.
